BMW's estimates for its performance are impressive. 0-60 in about 5 seconds sure isn't bad for a hybrid but how long until someone sticks in an M engine for kicks?

Can a chassis that was designed for a hybrid get-up easily accommodate a V8? Doubt it, but somebody will probably make it work. My guess would be an Australian.

I was thinking more along the lines of an S85B50. It's not much bigger than a V8 anyways.

I'd rather see an S54 inline 6 used.

It's the best one. It really is

Yeah, it would be hard to squeeze a V8 into the compartment they stash the current 3-cylinder into behind the back seat.

Is it just me or is this an M6 with a few extra body panels stuck on for good measure?

I read in Car and Driver that they were planning on making an M version with a V8, has anyone else heard this?
